Thomas Hanne received master's degrees in Economics and Computer Science, and a PhD in Economics. Since then he is Professor for Information Systems at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland and Head of the Competence Center Systems Engineering since 2012. He was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Vision from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Dr. Zhou currently is a full Professor at School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He has published over 450 peer-reviewed papers in the field. He was the recipient of "CVIU 2012 Most Cited Paper Award", “MIUA 2020 Best Paper Award”, “ICPRAM 2016 Best Paper Award” and was nominated for “ICPRAM 2017 Best Student Paper Award” and "MBEC 2006 Nightingale Prize". Professor Sudeep Tanwar (Senior Member, IEEE) is working as a professor at the Nirma University, India. He is senior member of IEEE and also Vice Chair of IEEE Computer Society Gujarat Section. He received B.Tech in 2002 from Kurukshetra University, India, M.Tech (Honor’s) in 2009 from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India and Ph.D. in 2016 with specialization in Wireless Sensor Network. Nadeem Javaid (Senior Member, IEEE) received the master’s degree in electronics from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 1999, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Paris-Est, France, in 2010. He was a Visiting Professor with the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. He is currently Tenured Professor and Founding Director of the Communications Over Sensors (ComSens) Research Laboratory, Department of Computer Science, COMSATS University Islamabad, Islamabad Campus. He has supervised 203 master’s and 32 Ph.D. theses. He has authored over 950 articles in technical journals and international conferences. He was a recipient of the Best University Teacher Award from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, in 2016, and the Research Productivity Award from the Pakistan Council for Science and Technology, in 2017. He is also an Associate Editor of IEEE Access. He is also an Editor of the Sustainable Cities and Society Journals.

Dr. Hao Yu is Associate Professor and Program Leader of Industrial Engineering (MSc) at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. His research interests are real-problem-driven model development to solve complex decision-making problems in sustainable supply chains, reverse logistics, location and network design, service systems, scheduling, and smart manufacturing and logistics in Industry 4.0/5.0. These optimization/simulation models can be used to minimize carbon footprints and environmental risks of logistics systems, improve the accessibility and cost efficiency of service networks, locate the charging stations for electric/hydrogen vehicles, autonomously configure reconfigurable manufacturing systems, improve the lockage efficiency of a water conservancy project, and so forth. He has led or been a key member of 10+ international projects funded by the Research Council of Norway, the Directorate of Higher Education and Skills, Innovation Norway, Nordplus, and EU and EEA Programmes. He has authored and co-authored 50+ scientific papers with 1500+ citations and 18 H-Index. Currently, his research focuses on the combination of predictive analytics, prescriptive analytics, and descriptive analytics in an Industry 5.0-enabled Smart Digital Logistics Twin that can be used in, for example, reverse logistics, humanitarian/ epidemic logistics, and smart manufacturing/ remanufacturing systems.
Kaya Kuru

Kaya Kuru received the B.Sc. degree from the National Defense University (Turkish Military Academy), the A.D.P. degree in computer engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU), the M.B.A. degree from Selçuk University, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from METU. He completed his postdoctoral studies with the School of Electronics and Computer Science/Informatics, University of Southampton, U.K. He is a Software Engineer and currently an Associate Professor of computer-information systems engineering. He has recently engaged in the implementation of numerous AI-based real-world systems within various funded projects. His research interests include the development of geo-distributed autonomous intelligent systems using FL, ML, DL, and DRL with CPSs. He has published dozens of papers in several international journals, as well as dozens of conference papers in several international academic conferences.
Subodha Kumar

Subodha Kumar is the Paul R. Anderson Distinguished Chair Professor of Statistics, Operations, and Data Science and the Founding Director of the Center for Business Analytics and Disruptive Technologies at Temple University’s Fox School of Business. He has a secondary appointment in Information Systems. He also serves as the Concentration Director for Ph.D. Program in Operations and Supply Chain Management. China’s Ministry of Education has awarded him a Changjiang Scholars Chair Professorship. He is also a Visiting Professor at the Indian School of Business (ISB). He has served on the University of Washington and Texas A&M University faculty. Subodha was awarded the INFORMS Information Systems Society (ISS) Distinguished Fellow Award in 2023. He was also elected to become a Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) Fellow in 2019. Subodha has published more than 240 papers in reputed journals and refereed conferences. He was ranked #1 worldwide for publishing in Information Systems Research. He is the Deputy Editor of the Production and Operations Management Journal and the Founding Executive Editor of Management and Business Review (MBR). He also serves on other editorial boards. He was the conference chair for the POMS Annual Conference 2018 and Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) Annual Conference 2018 and has co-chaired several other conferences.
